Would a withdrawal of 3,500 USD be a fairly painless experience in Cebu? It appears that my bank does not have an ATM in Cebu.
Thanks in advance.
Ok next month will be my first trip to Cebu City and I will be staying at the Crown Regency Towers.
I need some of your local expert advise on where to begin my mongering in Cebu. This is a very short trip as I'll only be in Cebu 5 days.
At one time? Over a month? Need more info. I carry 5 different ATM cards and the most that I can withdraw in 24 hours is 100,000 pesos ($2173). You can withdraw 15,000 pesos at Citibank at the Ayalla Mall, but most other ATM's the limit is 10,000 pesos at a time. Also, check with your bank to see what your daily withdraw limit is.Originally Posted by Boooyapi
Please just RTFF. You will be close to Mango Street and that is a great place to start. If you are unsure, get a cab from your hotel and tell the driver you want to go Vilkings and once you arrive there (less then 5 minutes) you will be around 10 clubs. Your first night when you barfine a girl, take her bar hopping and she will show you the clubs and discos.Originally Posted by Darmstadter
Nothing much to report on further dear mongers, however I have done some local research to find out a bit more about the local red light district on Mactan. The place that I mentioned in my earlier post, the Lapu Lapu equivalent of Jonquera is a place called Tapsilog. The area shares the same name as a local culinary dish and is where the casa and bar girls go at night if they have not managed to hook a customer. The place also has street walkers and local freelancers. Sadly this is my last night here and I fly out in the early hours otherwise I would have been delighted to post a field report. Certainly worth a visit if you find yourself here on Mactan with an evening spare, even for the curiosity value alone. Would be great if one of you guys get the chance to visit this place and post a field report.
Incidentally I met a dive instructor at EGI resort who seems like a really nice guy and who provided me with the above information. I have only known him a short time, but my instincts tell me he is a trustworthy guy. He is a family man, amiable and non pushy and would be willing to accompany visitors here on Mactan to Tapsilog or the local Casas and he would make sure you pay competative prices. PM me if you want his number.
He is also a good contact if diving is your thing. Apart from skydiving my only other interest in diving involves a woman's anatomy and I manage to do that freestyle without the need for an oxygen tank :-)
Kudos to Mortman for his Cebu adventure. The ref to Tapsilog made me wonder, though. Where will the LL taxi take you if you say "Take me to Tapsilog!". IDK since I've never tried it but it may be equivalent to saying "Take me to fish&chips!" in UK. I wonder if Tapsilog means a group of eateries near Jim's Tapsilog - Maximo Patalinjug Avenue. I believe it's mainly for locals looking for cheap tapsilog to eat, although girls from Mermaids and other clubs have to eat somewhere so it may be a hotspot.Originally Posted by Mortman
I would be a weee bit careful about the crime (i.e. shootings, stabbings). LL is safe inside the resorts, nightclubs and tourist spots but I think Cebu is generally safer in the city areas. Ask locals about the situation before you go. If you go to such places for first time, go with a local buddy. Never been there meself but I've heard ladyboys are common which is strange since I've never noticed many in Cebu. If you survive report back here
If you are doing this as a one time transaction with one bank card then the answer is can't be done. As someone suggest, using several cards then it can be done as each card have withdraw limits/day.Originally Posted by Boooyapi
Makes no difference if they don't have a branch of your home bank in Cebu as long as it have a MC or Visa logo, then able to withdraw from almost any ATM anywhere in the world, not just cebu-only there will be transaction fees involved with either banks.
Just curious as to why you want to withdraw so much money as its never safe to carry so much at one time.
Vague question I know but I have a friend at college and I sent her a small gift of 3000 yen which should be about 1500 pesos. If she gets it OK I'll send more. I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the value of that. Maybe in terms of a waitresses salary or whatever.
Ps no it's not an actual or potential gf, it's a friend of friend.
To put your gift into perspective, I was seeing a woman who is raising three kids. She works shifts at a local garment factory on Mactan and earns approximately 6000 pesos per month. Looking at average wages of 300 pesos per day across the board for most kinds of manual work, your gift is equivalent to a weeks wages for most people.Originally Posted by Japanguy
I know some girls living in boarding rooms and they pay from 800-1500 pesos a month for a room with shared bath. Some of the girls working downtown in the stores earn 150 pesos a day, 10-12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Day off is not paid.
So if a girl waits for you at the airport, goes back to your hotel with you, gives you a massage and blowjob. Please give her something for her time. If your the asshole staying in the Diplomat and didn't give Juliet anything because you thought she was 'sweet' on you. I hope you get everything you deserve. A little bit goes a long way.
Thanks Jesi and Mortman, that's very helpful. $30US goes a long way.
Jesi, no girl waited for me at the airport. Then we didn't go back to the Diplomat and she didn't give me a massage and definitely not a blowjob. I've never met a woman called Juliet, I haven't been to The Philippines in about 10 years and I've never been to Cebu. I am always nice to ladies even though I am an asshole.
It's very cold here in Tokyo and I'd love to visit sometime soon.

You have to be a real s**t to let the girl stay all day and give her nothing except a good suck of your todger and a shag.

Completely agree. The vast majority of these girls are dirt poor and vulnerable and are not hardened pros. Sadly there will always be a minority of guys out there who will take advantage of a girl's good nature all to save a few meaningless pounds or dollars. I reported on an encounter I had with an 18 year old girl I met last year and serviced back at my hotel. I gave her 1000 pesos and after she left I felt I had underpaid her. I was totally humbled when she sent me a text later that day expressing her deep gratitude as she was able to buy formula milk for her sisters baby. Just because most of the girls do not make the encounter feel like a commercial deal does not mean you should not pay them. Virtually every girl will expect some sort of recompense for her pussy and affections
A lot of these girls would be lucky if all they got was a suck on an old wrinkled todger and a hard shag. Many get a cream pie baked in their pussies and a dose of the clap to booth. A few extra pesos does nothing to improve their lot in the long run. It is the price they pay for being born poor.Originally Posted by Wicked Roger
CM I hope you really didn't mean that. If so, thanks for helping to derail the thread.
Here is a tidbit I ran across:
If you're like me, you wonder how to more easily gain access to all that sweet (and eager to earn their exam fees) pussy in the university system.Cebu university’s library opens American corner
December 17, 2009 4:05 am
CEBU CITY, Dec. 16 — United States Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney formally opened Monday the American Corner at the library of the University of San Carlos (USC) Main Campus on P. del Rosario St., Cebu City.
The American Corner at USC is the first in Cebu City and the 14th in the country.
“I want a place where people could come in, read about America and know the different events in America. For men, this is very important. I want the Cebuanos to have a little piece from the American government,” Kenney said.
Kenney said the American Corner will have the latest magazines, books and research materials of the US and will enable students to connect to the Thomas Jefferson Research Service in Manila which contains thousands of databases abut the US.......yak yak yak...
The American Corner can also be accessed for free by students and faculty of other universities in the city. (PNA)
I figure an old white guy hanging around outside a Uni just looks too perverted. But here you got an excuse to walk right up and ask for access. Prob need to pay some fee. I would need to go and check if they have the latest copy of "my book" on the shelf ["Banging the Wild LBFM"]. And if not, I would call my agent right away and have one send over straight away. Well its an idea anyway.
Oh u see that--they got a Female US ambassador. What a waste! Like sending a teatotaler to the German Embassy, it just isn't done. How sympathetic do you think she is going to be to some Marine in local trouble?
It sounds like exactly the sort of misguided thing that a woman would do. The Filipinos have little interest in America beyond its currency and a visa to get there. They made that abundantly clear when they wanted us out of Subic Bay and Clark, and by their treatment of U.S. Marines.Originally Posted by Jambo
Yes, the young Pinays get their holes stuffed because they're poor. They wouldn't be in hotel rooms choking on sperm if they had money. It's just a fact of poverty. You don't see mongers having such an easy time stuffing young girls in Taiwan and Japan.

One Marine has a hard time. Ever thought about the thousands of Marines that were in Subic and Clark and squirted their love juice all over. See those half castes that generally have no job and no hope. Yeah they are what happened. So maybe its the Marines treatment of the Filpinas thats the problthem.
Wouldn't agree with your statements on this one Mate.
Okay, if you say so.
Of course there was a guy who secretly took nude pictures of a woman he was dating in PI and then posted them on the Internet -- right here at ISG!! What an asshole!
Or at least that is what a fellow cityxguide.com member thought because that is what she told him. The reality is I (the "asshole") barfined her with the stipulation that I would take pictures and she was tipped for that extra service.
I'm not directing this at JJ, since he knows the lady and I don't, but to the rest of you guys -- don't believe everything you hear!

Jesi, no idea why my short little posting made you think I was that guy but I am here safely in cold Tokyo, I haven't been to Philippines for 10 years or more, I've never been to Cebu and never met anyone called Juliet.

Truly cant belive you wrote the above....we obviously have differnt views and standards.....thats fine but even though I am a kinky old fat bald maonger I do like to think I have some morals, hidden maybe but they are there )

At the end of the day you're going to fuck them either way. The 800 pesos monger might only fuck one of their holes with a condom while the benevolent and magnanimous 1,000 pesos monger fucks all of their three holes bareback. You tell me who is kinder?
